Hand-strung by Indigenous women of the Emberá-Chamí Nation in Colombia. The teal diamonds carry the color of the Putumayo, their ancestral river where green means shelter, growth, and the world that sustains all life. The beadwork then travels to Bali, where it is hand-sewn onto the base in small community studios. Every maker is paid fairly.
In many First Nation traditions, fringe is rain — life force from heaven to earth. When you wear this, that energy moves with you.
