A loose trouser with a handwoven nettle waistband. Built for strength, protection, and completely comfort in your body.
These slacks are far from the ordinary. The body is cut from a soft linen-cotton blend, while the waistband is something else entirely—a panel of wild-harvested Bhutanese nettle, handspun and woven on traditional looms by artisans who have practiced this craft for generations. The stinging nettle plant has been revered for centuries for its protection, electric lifeforce, and strength. Wearing these slacks is a physical reminder of your own capacity to lead, to protect, and to set boundaries. Breathable, durable, and built for real life—whether you are at a festival, on retreat, at a resort, in a meditation circle, traveling, or simply at home.

The nettle textile begins in the forests of Bhutan, where artisans hand-harvest wild stinging nettle each season. The stems are processed by hand—boiled, beaten, and sun-dried—then spun into yarn and woven on traditional looms. From harvest to finished fabric, the process takes months. Only a few families in Bhutan still carry this knowledge.
The Nettle Slacks are made in collaboration with Bhutanese nettle artisans and slow fashion designer Myrah Peñaloza—who puts their unique craft into something you will wear and reach for constantly. The nettle sits at your waist for a reason. It is the core of your body. The place where strength is held. In the wild, the stinging nettle plant protects itself fiercely. In these slacks, that same energy wraps around you—grounding you, steadying you, reminding you of what you are made of.
