Spirituality-is-not-fashionable-it-is-life-itself. Earth Wisdom Collection

In this week’s video conversation from Bhutan, Myrah and Kathi answer the question: "How can clothing be a sacred healing practice?"

It’s not about trends or appearances. It’s about how we relate to ourselves, to nature, and to one another.

Myrah Peñaloza, slow fashion designer, reminds us how wearing clothes that make us feel good is a powerful tool to tap in.

"If we can just return to the simplicity of, what brings me to light, what elevates me, what makes me feel good about myself. Because when you feel good about you, you innately are good to other people."

For Kathi, founder of Earth Wisdom Collection, the fabrics we choose and the way we wear them are acts of reverence for the Earth, for artisans, and for our own values.

Here in Bhutan, we've had the great pleasure to meet some wonderful people who have dedicated their life... to preserve a dedicated task, which becomes their spiritual action every day. So the women that dye the clothes, the women that weave the clothes, that's how they keep their minds stable. That's how they stay connected to what we refer to as the sacred design on planet Earth."

Watch the full conversation for inspiration on how your clothing can be something sacred, and truly personal.
