I value so much being engaged in life flow playfully and gracefully. In this way, I love nurturing my spirit with tools and gifts that promote this very flow.
Wearing the Spirit skirt and body by @earth_wisdom_collection feels like being enveloped in a river flow itself, soft touch of the fabric, modest yet bright outlook, the waves and curves it creates with my movements, the full 360* mesmerizing swirl.
Love every single detail of it, not even mention the Pockets!!
The Blue Spirit skirt with the Mozaik Pink Belt became my favorite stage outfit this year simply because wearing it brings me back to who I am.
I bought this hand-beaded belt and the moment I wrapped it around my waist, a surprising feeling moved through me — I felt a sensation words can’t capture, but one that instantly connected me to a remembrance of my Taíno lineage. When I shared this with Kathi, the founder, she responded with a joyful laugh and told me that the people who created the hand-beaded fringe were the Emberá Chamí Nation of Colombia, who she said are Taíno descendants. A few days later, in one of Kathi’s workshops, I danced wearing the belt and experienced an incredibly clear understanding of why our ancestors adorned themselves — I began moving my body in ways I hadn’t before, yet that felt intrinsically natural. It was as if the belt became a portal, transporting me from the ordinary into an embodied experience of the Divine.
The best quality materials, nicely tailored, perfect fit. The linen breathable so keeps me warm in the cold and cool in the heat. I bought the pants too, and wear the suit to dance; there is ample room in the pants to move and flow with the rhythms. I am shopping for more from the Earth Wisdom Collection.
I also bought the shirt to go with. The outfit arrived in great shape. I loved the packaging, the presentation in the bags. I like the bags and will reuse them! Immediately the quality of the materials impressed me. And when I wear the suit, others are also impressed with the garment and like to look and touch it. The fit is perfect. The cloth is breathable, keeps me warm in the cold and cool in the heat. I wear the outfit to dance and there is ample room to move in every direction. In short, I am extremely pleased with the suit.
From the moment I received the Trinity Kimono, I felt embraced by something more than fabric. As a sound healer, singer, and facilitator of sacred spaces, I view clothing as an integral part of my practice; it embodies my true intention, holds my memories, and serves as a prayer. This kimono is precisely that: my wearable altar.
Hand-crafted with Bhutanese embroidery and turmeric-dyed in the spirit of Oshun, it carries the warmth of the earth and the vibration of water. Each time I drape it over my shoulders for meditation, song circles, or sound-healing sessions, it reminds me of protection, blessings, and the unseen support of nature and ancestors. It invites gratitude for every breath and every element.
More than a beautiful garment, it is a living companion in my healing art, a silent guide that helps me move in grace, sing, and bless. I am profoundly thankful to the artisans who poured their prayers into every stitch.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Aliya
