Can Clothing Raise Your Frequency?

The Energetic Power of What You Wear

Did you know that what you wear affects more than your outward appearance? All clothing carries an energetic frequency. Many factors determine whether it will uplift or drain you. At Earth Wisdom Collection, our pieces are high vibrational fashion designed for women who want more than just clothing—they want a deeper connection to the Earth and their radiant energy.

We create clothes that lift your energy. We use high vibrational fabrics like linen, silk, and cotton. Additionally, each garment is handmade, infusing love and mindfulness into every piece.

Natural, handmade clothing is the best choice to elevate your frequency. In this blog, we will be exploring exactly how it all works.

High-vibrational fashion includes handwoven pieces such as this Purity Aquarian Kimono, modeled by a man. It contains an embroidery handmade in Bhutan.

The Purity Aquarian Mens Gown is a one-of-a-kind statement piece. Earth Wisdom Collection co-founder Kathi von Koerber curated this design by connecting master weavers in the Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan with leading sustainable fashion designer Myrah Peñaloza.

Dressing with Intention Begins with This Belief: Every Day Is a Special Occasion

"Every day is a special occasion," reflects Nando, husband of Kathi and co-founder of Earth Wisdom Collection. "You might think, I'm going to wear my best dress when there's a party — when it's a special occasion. But you know what? A special occasion is every day."

He elaborates:

“Live every day as if it was your last day. And in that, of course, beauty has a very important place, because that's what we want at the end: to look beautiful. But not in the prideful sense of being seen and gratified. No. To show your connection with the beauty of life. It's like saying, I am in sync.”

Nando has spent decades advocating for the 115+ Indigenous groups in every corner of his home country, Colombia. They are the eyes that watch over sacred traditions, and the mouths that pass down the knowledge of ancestors. And the purest way to preserve their wisdom is through their artistry: high-vibrational fashion that is handwoven or handbeaded.

Indigenous groups have one common belief. What you put on your body tells your story, and punctuates your energy in the grand scheme of life.

Indeed, Kathi and Nando co-created Earth Wisdom Collection out of this belief. They united the work of top designers and Indigenous artisans. And today, our Collection offers you stylish, handmade, natural clothing that lifts your frequency.

The Energetic Benefits of Natural Fabrics

Natural, plant-based fabrics feel amazing on your skin. Here’s how some of our favorite natural fabrics support your energy:

  • Linen is made from the flax plant and requires very minimal processing. Its vibrational frequency remains pure at around 5,000 Hz. In essence, wearing linen enhances clarity of mind, as it keeps you cool and calm.

  • Organic Cotton has a frequency of about 3,500 Hz. Conventional cotton has a lower frequency of around 2,500 Hz due to the chemicals used in farming. Cotton is soft on the skin and gives you a balanced, comforted energy.

  • Silk comes from the silk worm and its pure creative force. It has a frequency of 5,000 Hz — the same as linen. Specifically, silk enhances emotional balance, increases mental clarity, and evokes a regal energy.

The Energetic Downsides of Synthetic Fabrics

Synthetic materials like nylon, polyester, and spandex are made from petroleum. They are mass-produced with machines and treated with harmful chemicals, including flame retardants. Therefore, they have low frequencies of 200 Hz or less. These fabrics disrupt energy, irritate the skin, trap heat, shed microplastics, and cause discomfort.

"Clothing materials are not to be underestimated," Nando emphasizes. "Natural materials play the biggest role because they shift the intention of the clothing. They carry the intention of uplifting, to a higher version of yourself."

What Is High Vibrational Clothing?

Beyond our natural materials, what transforms our Collection into high-vibrational fashion is people.

“The materials are coming from ancient cultures, from pure people," Nando explains. "This is pure knowledge and pure Earth. It brings all that frequency and vibration into the clothing."

All of our Bhutanese belts are made by female master weavers on traditional backstrap looms. They don't follow written instructions. They have learned to weave from memory, as passed down from their mothers, and grandmothers before them.
Specifically, our Collection is elevated through:
  • Mindfulness and Pure Intentions
Embroidering, weaving, and beading by hand requires focused attention and skill. This focused energy positively charges the garment due to the artisan working with love, joy, or a specific intention.
Nando explains, "The Indigenous don't make their crafts for money. They make it because they love it. And because it's just going through them. It's just a poem that you sing... Simply by expressing their ways, there is value.”

A real person dedicated time and effort to make the piece, and that changes everything. In essence, you pick up on the warmth woven into it, and this increases your sense of gratitude. This is one of the most high-vibrational states.
  • Cultural Heritage
In Indigenous communities, even the simplest jewelry carries meaning. As Nando tells us, "When a woman wears her necklace, it says to the community that you are initiated. It marks you as a wise woman, inviting them to come to you and ask you anything." Indigenous crafts carry cultural or ancestral stories. This reminds us that we are connected to something greater.
  • Value in Uniqueness
Many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind, or there's only a small batch. When you recognize something as precious, you treat it with care and respect. Therefore, it shifts your energy toward high-vibrational states of gratitude and abundance.

Each of our Yemaya Adult Embroidery Gowns includes a different mola design, making them truly one-of-a-kind. To bring this vision to life, Kathi connected the Kuna People of Colombia and their colorful mola embroideries with sustainable fashion designer Myrah Peñaloza. This design is part of our new Earth Collection, coming soon.
