Kathi von Koerber, filmmaker, dancer, healer, and visionary curator, has dedicated her life to studying ancient indigenous wisdom and wellness rituals. Together with her husband and co-founder Hernando Villa, their mission is to share exceptional works of art with the world.

Curating Fair Trade Indigenous Masterpieces

Kathi’s extensive travels take her to remote corners of the world such as Bhutan and Colombia, where she collaborates with indigenous masters of weaving and beadwork through fair trade practices. She then partners with leading fashion designers to create truly unique pieces that blend the traditional with the modern.

Museum-Quality Heirloom Apparel and Jewelry

The heart of our collection is the Bhutanese Line, featuring heirloom clothing and accessories. It incorporates various styles, from elegant silk kimonos to intricately woven protective belts, with silk embroideries meticulously hand-crafted over months. This is ‘Slow Fashion’ at its finest. Every stitch is intentional, every design tells a story, and each piece is made to last. Following Bhutanese tradition, where cherished weavings are passed down for generations, our pieces are designed to become family treasures.

Preserving Ancient Textile Techniques

We only use natural fabrics like pure cotton, linen, and silk. In our commitment to preserving ancient traditions, we’re helping revive the nearly forgotten art of nettle weaving. The stinging nettle plant is gathered from the forest, stone-washed, and dried over months until it’s ready to be woven into a sustainable and durable fiber. By creating demand for this rare fabric, we support the last family in Bhutan who maintains this precious craft, ensuring this ancient tradition continues for future generations to appreciate.

Beyond Bhutan, Kathi’s curated collections include flowing skirts, regal dresses, and ruffled bodysuits created in collaboration with world-renowned boho designer Erika Peña. You’ll also find our jewelry collections which feature two distinct traditions: vibrant, hand-beaded pieces by the Embera Chamí Nation of Colombia, as well as silver, gold, and gemstone statement pieces made by artisans in Bali and moon-blessed by a Balinese priest.Each Earth Wisdom Collection item you wear combines centuries-old tradition with contemporary elegance, turning your everyday moments into occasions worth celebrating.
